Furbolg are a tall, bear-like people of Kalimdor. Once wise and peaceful, they were loyal friends of the night elves. But the coming of the Burning Legion and the spread of the Fel drove many tribes mad. On WowX5 x5 the furbolg are a conflicted people: some friendly, others deadly.
Not all furbolg are enemies! The Timbermaw tribe is neutral — raise reputation with them for useful rewards and passage through the tunnel between Felwood and Winterspring.
Who are the furbolg
Furbolg are large bipedal beings with thick fur and the manner of a bear. Their culture rests on tribal life, shamanism and reverence for nature spirits. In peaceful times the furbolg were allies of the night elves and guardians of the forest.
Everything changed with the coming of the Fel. Many tribes, weakened by war and hunger, gave in to demonic corruption and madness. The maddened furbolg turned aggressive toward all — including their former friends.
