Son of Ironforge
Muradin is one of the three Bronzebeard brothers of the ruling line of Ironforge. While Magni ruled the kingdom and Brann explored the world, Muradin chose the path of a warrior and mentor.
Mentor of Arthas
Muradin trained the young Arthas Menethil in the art of war and became his close friend. It was to the dwarf that the prince turned for help when the plague of the Scourge struck Lordaeron.
The journey to Northrend
Together they set out into icy Northrend on the trail of the demon Mal'Ganis. Muradin warned the prince against his obsession with revenge, but Arthas no longer heard the voice of reason.
Victim of Frostmourne
When Arthas freed the runeblade Frostmourne, a bursting shard of ice struck Muradin down. His friend was believed dead — and the prince, losing his last anchor, stepped fully into darkness.
