Keeper Remulos: guardian of Moonglade

◆Son of Cenarius

The Keepers of the Grove are the sons of Cenarius, demigods with the body of a stag and branches for hair. Remulos is the best known of them. He helped Malfurion teach the first druids and has guarded Kalimdor's nature for ten thousand years.

◆Guardian of Moonglade

Remulos lives in Moonglade by his shrine near the village of Nighthaven. This neutral valley is the home of the Cenarion Circle, and every druid in Azeroth can reach it with a teleport spell.

◆Where to find him in WoW Classic

Remulos stands at his shrine by Lake Elune'ara in Moonglade. You can get there through the Timbermaw tunnel from Felwood or with a druid's help. The NPC is neutral to both factions.

◆The Nightmare and Eranikus

In the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain players help Remulos fight the Emerald Nightmare. The climax is an attack on Moonglade by the green dragon Eranikus, tainted by the Nightmare: Remulos, Tyrande and the players repel it. More in the Scepter quest guide.

◆The Emerald Dream

Remulos is closely tied to the Emerald Dream and the dragonflight of Ysera. The Nightmare's corruption that turned Ysera's dragons into the Dragons of Nightmare is a personal threat to him.

◆Why it matters

Remulos is a living bridge between night elf lore and Classic game content. Through him players take part in the events leading to the opening of the gates of Ahn'Qiraj.
