How to Reach Menethil Harbor in WoW 1.12.1

◆Where is Menethil Harbor

The harbor lies on the western coast of the Wetlands — a boggy level 20–30 zone in northern Khaz Modan, between Loch Modan to the south and the Arathi Highlands to the north. The town is built on a small island off the shore of Menethil Bay and connected to the mainland by a bridge. Menethil Keep towers over the harbor, and the ships wait at the docks. How to get to Menethil Harbor as Alliance

From Ironforge and Stormwind

1. From Stormwind, ride the Deeprun Tram to Ironforge.
2. Leave Ironforge and follow the road east through Dun Morogh into Loch Modan. If you have the Thelsamar flight point, fly there.
3. From Thelsamar, follow the road north past Algaz Station.
4. Go through the Dun Algaz tunnel — the Wetlands begin on the other side.
5. Follow the road west all the way to the coast, cross the bridge and pick up the flight path from the gryphon master (Shellei Brondir).

By ship from Kalimdor

Night elves board the ship in Auberdine in Darkshore: it docks right at the harbor. A second ship sails from Theramore Isle in Dustwallow Marsh — the reverse trip is covered in how to get to Theramore. The ships are free, and you rarely wait more than a few minutes at the pier.

How to get to Menethil Harbor as Horde

For the Horde, Menethil Harbor is an enemy town: the guards attack Horde players, and the Horde has no flight point of its own in the Wetlands. Coming here only makes sense for PvP or when crossing the zone.

1. From Orgrimmar, take the zeppelin to Tirisfal Glades and head down into the Undercity.
2. Fly by bat to Tarren Mill, then walk east into the Arathi Highlands and pick up the Hammerfall flight point. The route is described in how to get to the Arathi Highlands.
3. From Hammerfall, head south to Thandol Span and cross the gorge — the Wetlands begin past the bridge.
4. Follow the road west to reach the harbor. Do not cross the bridge into town alone: Alliance guards and enemy players will meet you at the gates.

Where is the entrance and what to keep in mind

• Land entrance — the bridge on the eastern side, where the road from the inner Wetlands arrives.
• Sea entrance — the docks at the western tip of the town. Two ships leave from here, to Auberdine and to Theramore. Make sure you are standing at the right pier before boarding.
• Flight point — Alliance gryphons. From here you can fly to Ironforge, Thelsamar and Refuge Pointe in the Arathi Highlands, among others.
• Inn — the harbor has an innkeeper where you can set your Hearthstone.
